1998 Upper Deck Series 1 Baseball 28-Pack Retail Box (Ships Sealed Only)
This 1998 Upper Deck Series 1 Baseball retail box contains 28 packs of 12 cards each, offering a complete snapshot of late-90s baseball card collecting. The set captures the era when Upper Deck dominated the hobby with premium photography and innovative insert programs.
Series 1 is known for its strong base card lineup and chase inserts that drove pack sales. Ken Griffey Jr.'s Home Run Chronicles appeared at 1:9 packs, while National Pride cards and the ultra-rare A Piece of the Action inserts (1:2,500) made every pack a potential hit. The 30 Amazing Greats subset included both standard numbered versions and scarce die-cut parallels.
