The 1991-92 Upper Deck set was released in two series totaling 700 cards. The design features action photography with clean white borders, player names and positions on top, and team names on the bottom. Card backs include player statistics and biographical information. The set is known for its All-Rookie Team subset and randomly inserted Glasnost cards featuring Wayne Gretzky, Brett Hull, and Valeri Kamensky. A special World Junior Championships subset (cards 650-699) rounds out the release.
