Derek Carr was officially released by the Las Vegas Raiders today after 9 seasons.

The move signals the end of a Raiders era that saw Carr start all but four regular-season games for the franchise since it drafted him in 2014. The Raiders made the decision at the end of the first season under general manager Dave Ziegler and head coach Josh McDaniels. Both will face pressure next season to produce with a new quarterback after a season that started with playoff hopes finished with a 6-11 record.

Carr made three Pro Bowls early in his career, but the Raiders made the playoffs just twice with Carr at quarterback and are still seeking their first playoff win since advancing to the Super Bowl in the 2002 season.

The top destinations for Carr are rumored to be New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, and New York Jets. Where do you think he will land?
