2026 Topps Chrome Update Debut Patch Checklist: Nearly 200 1/1 Autos

The 2026 Topps Chrome Update Debut Patch checklist runs nearly 200 one-of-one autographs, and preorders for the regular release open Monday, Nov. 2, at noon ET through Topps. Sports Collectors Daily broke down the checklist on Nov. 1, with names like Jacob Misiorowski, Cam Schlittler and Munetaka Murakami among the patch subjects.

Key points

• Each Debut Patch Autograph is a 1/1 holding a patch from the player's first MLB game. Sports Collectors Daily counts 198 players, while Checklist Insider lists 197 cards.
• The White Sox and Marlins lead the checklist with 13 subjects each, per Sports Collectors Daily.
• First Day Issue (FDI) Jumbo boxes are dated Nov. 27. Checklist Insider still shows the standard hobby date as TBA.
• Hobby boxes are reported at 24 packs of four cards with one autograph.

Who is on the 2026 Topps Chrome Update Debut Patch checklist?

Sports Collectors Daily names Misiorowski, Schlittler, Murakami, Roman Anthony, Colson Montgomery, Sal Stewart, Nolan McLean, JJ Wetherholt, Kevin McGonigle, Travis Bazzana, Bryce Eldridge, Parker Messick and Chase DeLauter. DeLauter's card stands out because his patch comes from a 2025 postseason game, which the outlet called especially unusual.

Not every rookie in the set made the patch list. Payton Tolle of the Red Sox appears in the base and autograph sets but is not a Debut Patch subject, per the report.

Which teams have the most Debut Patch cards?

Team collectors can use these counts from Sports Collectors Daily:

• White Sox: 13
• Marlins: 13
• Red Sox: 10
• Guardians, Astros and Rays: 8 each
• Dodgers: 4
• Yankees: 3
• Cubs: 2

What have Debut Patch cards sold for?

Two sales from the 2024 product give the chase its profile. A Paul Skenes Debut Patch autograph sold for $1.11 million in March 2025, and a Pete Crow-Armstrong card from the same release sold for $1.098 million in September 2026, Sports Collectors Daily reported. Those are past results for two specific players, not a guide to what any 2026 card will bring.

When does 2026 Topps Chrome Update Baseball release?

Topps has not confirmed a general release date. Sports Collectors Daily expects it about a month after preorders open, which points to early December. The FDI Jumbo box carries a Nov. 27 date, and the outlet's headline reports those boxes sold out at $1,600 after a Dutch auction on Oct. 29. Dates can move, so check our release calendar for changes.

What is in a hobby and jumbo box?

• Hobby (reported): 24 packs of four cards, one autograph per box.
• Jumbo (expected): 12 packs of 11 cards, two autographs, down from three in recent Chrome Update releases.
• FDI Jumbo: 12 packs of 11 cards, three autographs including one Molten Mercury auto numbered to 20, plus two Molten Mercury parallels numbered to 13.

Sports Collectors Daily says dealers have advertised hobby boxes around $230 to $240 and jumbo boxes around $450 to $500. Breaker's Delight and Mega configurations are also expected.
